Before we delve into it, let's have a fitting touch of introduction by looking at the nation of Israel; God's end-time timepiece. Why is that you may ask? God is omniscient, therefore, he sees the beginning to the end and knows everything. And He has a plan, He tells us the time for things in his plan before it happen so we won't be caught unawares. And for that purpose, he chose Israel as his prophetic timepiece. Hence if you want to know where we are in the timeline, all that one has to do is to look at Israel and know what is happening. Let's watch this Video # 1 (CLICK IT).

Now, let's look at the one in whom it all started. A descendant of Noah through Shem. (Gen. 11:10-26) He was called out of his father's land Ur in obedience to a divine vision to a place where God led him. (Acts 7:2-4) The land which his descendants were promised to possess and become God's prophetic timepiece. Let's follow through with this Video # 2 (CLICK IT).

The Land named Israel was given to God's chosen people to possess for sustenance under His terms. Hence rules were to be followed for their proper use lest the terms of God (the landowner) be broken, looking at it figuratively in this manner enhances one's understanding. Let us continue with Video # 3 (CLICK IT).

This brings us to a great prophet Jeremiah, who was sent to the nation Israel to deliver His divine judgment for breaking his terms. Jeremiah’s ministry began in 626 B.C. and ended sometime after 586. God’s chosen people (the descendants of Abraham) had to be cast off the land, and so all the ancient promises and covenants had come to naught. Though the judgment would dispossess the people of the land, the time they were exiled did not account for the length of time they had disregarded God's sabbatical rest that He had required them to observe. We will see this next in Video # 4 (CLICK IT).

This leads us now to another great prophet named Daniel. Nearing the end of the prophesied 70-year exile, Daniel, while kneeling in prayer received the remarkable prophecy of the end-time given by God, known as the 70 weeks of Daniel. Let's follow it on in this Video # 5 (CLICK IT).

Below is a graphical representation of Daniels' 70 weeks. Note that the timeline (the bold/thick (ground-like) horizontal line at the bottom) begins in 445 BC. It is the year whereby the 70 weeks [of years] began and shall end 490 years later. The designated time the people of Israel shall receive what had been promised them as provided in the prophecy, exclusively for them alone. (Daniel 9:24) I say that because no Christian church or body of Christ existed at the time of prophecy.

Now that we know what is in store for the Israelites at the end, let us break down the chart part by part to understand it all. The first 69 weeks (7 weeks plus 62 weeks) or 483 years are indicated at your left-hand portion of the chart. The first 7 weeks was the time allotted for the rebuilding of the first temple (that of Solomon) by Zerubbabel which was destroyed by the Babylonians in 606 BC. During the 62 weeks, the extensions were built until King Herod's time. It is the very Temple that Jesus entered, during his visitation to Jerusalem in the year 32 AD. Where he was crucified on that fateful Friday some 2000 years from the present; follow that in Video # 6 (CLICK IT).

The prophetic clock stopped ticking at the end of 483 years because Israel had not recognized their Messiah, their Coming King. Otherwise, it would've taken only another seven more years to complete 490 years and the prophecy would have been fulfilled; blessing them with the promise. But as it is, their Temple was again destroyed and the nation was dispossessed of the land. But what about the 7th week or the last seven years? (Daniel 9:27) Let's follow that in Video # 7 (CLICK IT)

Looking back at the chart above, we find that the prophetic clock that had been stopped gave way for the body of Christ to be established, as written in the book of Acts. It was written, I will call my people who are not my people, the Gentiles. (Hosea 2:23) Note that from 32 AD to the time of the Rapture for the church, there is nothing indicated in the timeline ending its timeframe but a question mark (?), that is because nobody knows when it will happen; that is the Rapture (Matthew 24:36-42). Now note the difference between the Rapture and the 2nd Coming; the former is not indicated (2 Thessalonians 2:5-8; Daniel 9:27; Matthew 24:15-22), whereas, with the latter, all one has to do is count the number of days from the middle of the period and you are certain that the Lord comes as written. (Daniel 12:11-12 ) But for now, let's get the message for us Christians in the next Video # 8 (CLICK IT).

As indicated in the chart, after the Rapture (First Resurrection) the prophetic clock moves again and shall be stopped at the end of the 7oth week; the end of the last 7 years completing what's left of 490 years. What is called the Great Tribulation (Jacob's trouble), whereby God's wrath is poured on the whole of Earth. Unfortunately for Israel, only the remnant shall be saved. (Romans 9:27-29; Revelation 7:1-8; 9:4)
